This is one exactly as you want to see

Problem it is, as you can see, still in the factory
wrapping.  This boat is on the way to a customer so I
don't fancy unwrapping it now.   We will try to get some
pictures of an unwrapped version early next week.

Rodney, just when you got the colour scheme/mould right
you go and introduce a limited addition parcel tape and
bubble rap version!!

I have seen so many boats taped together over the years (usually after a prang I must admit) that I thought it might be  a good idea to tape them up in the factory to save time at a later date

It looks like it and I think, based on his record, he should have a bubble wrapped and taped version.

thing is that a lot of properly structural carbon is unideirectional. Tends to look pretty much uniformly black. The classic "carbon" effect is plain weave stuff, which is frankly good for little beyond decoration (there are other, better weaves mind for where multi-directional strnegth/stiffness is needed in minimal fibre weight)

Perhaps a bit of an exaggeration: surely plain weave carbon is normally better than multiaxial glass, and there are price and handling advantages over multiaxial fibres in some circumstances and its a lot easier to handle when fabricating small components...

No problem Graeme

Please let me know how many people would like to try the D-One and what you can do to organise safety cover.  Have you managed to get the slipways built yet?  A couple of pontoons may help if you want to keep your feet dry

Seriously I am happy to bring a D-One along sometime for you to try but be warned, you will want one

OH, nearly forgot the beers are on you!
