Rodney- does this mean you'll be getting some new demo
boats with the new deck
moulding to show us soon?

Jimbo, Forget the bank manager, i won't get it past the
wife first Pal, spent too much money on boats recently
and i suspect a used D-0ne is still well out of my reach
just yet.

I am just starting to get to grips with the Phantom now,
and loving it!

I appear to have lost the lead in the Series by not attending the Numana event.

However I am looking forward to the Torbole event next week, where apparently it blows "dogs off chains".

Great video and a fantastic looking ship! If I had the cash I would certainly have one!

I did a 420 worlds at Numana; nice venue.

Hardly putting the fun back into sailing with no discard on a euro circuit

Generaly I think it better with a travellers cct to give enough discards to make it inclusive ... if it is 3 events I'd have thought 2 to count,

we have had
our third event , the circuit now is mooving to torbole lake garda 25 to 27
of june, than 9 to 11 of july to austria....etc. general knowledge of the
boat is gone up as well as performance, weights of sailors ranges from 70
to 100 kgs so far and who won in numana weighed in at 72 kgs.it seems
that equalization allows a wide range of weights to be competitive,
though as you would expect in the light the lighter guys manage to go
deeper downwind, and in the heavy stuff big blokes have it easier.we have
had a sail test by a german mag in kiel with finns lasers rs 100 d ones
etc.wind was blowing 20 to 25 knots and the d one performed superbly
clearly showing his pace,it is the faster sitting out boat around in the ,
lets say ,easy to sail class and that is in line with the py.canoes and
moths are in a different league.in general it seems that the racing format
adopted is well accepted by the sailors that like the short and sharp
concept of two races a day ,like the chance of just flying or driving in and
renting a boat, with the two day event and a double pointer non
discardable at the end .volvo in italy has decided to give one discard in
the five regatta series , that will come in play with the torbole event .we
have quite a few regattas all around europe , i am really pleased for the
first year, the big event though will be the first d one gold cup in valencia
spain from the 1 to the 3 of october, where for the first time i will try to
race, despite equalization it will require some starving , at present my
weight is 117 kgs.....ciao luca
