2 long distance races the length of Ullswater (about 14 mile courses)

Local Beer (Hesket Newmarket Brewery)

All Class mass start (about 220 boats)

More Beer

The best scenery of any club in the UK

Competition throughout the fleet from semi pros to absolute beginners.

Did I mention the Local Beer? (I think you can see what I'm looking forwards too!)

All fast and slow dinghies, skiffs and keelboats welcome

3rd and 4th July at Ullswater Yacht Club

 

Come and say hello - I'll be behind the bar in the beer tent on saturday night.

I'd love to do this sometime, but given that we're getting on a ferry on the evening of the 5th from Portsmouth for our Euros and Worlds, it won't be this year!

Clubhouse is out of action sadly

 

We will be having markees for the party etc and there are portacabins for changing (giving as much - posibly more - covered space as we had previously anyway).

This year should still be better than ever dispite the setbacks last november and we've been doing wind and sun dances for a while now

Planky, i am really concerned!!  I have just been on the UWYC website to download the entry form, NOR etc. and it suggests we pre-enter this year due to lack of space.!!!!   Is it going to be ok to turn up Friday PM and enter?  I don't fancy making the 400 mile round trip with a boat, to be told i can't enter!!??

Please could you confirm i'm OK, i am all woried now!!

Coul di recommend a Tiger Trophey style online entry system for next year?
