Oh yes.

Edit: Is International C-class Catamaran Challenge (ICCCC or I4C) the same thing?

The event is indeed taking place this summer in Newport RI, and currently the American team of Steve Clark and Duncan Mclane are due to be sailing their new boat which replaces the legendary Cogito. The Canadian holders of the trophy Fred and Magnus have built a new boat Orion but suspicion is rife that they are going to either take it back into the shed for some optimisation for the Newport conditions or revert back to the winning boat from last time Alpha, and the UK team Invictus, whom I used to be involved with will be there.

Checkout the latest video from the Invictus guys

Invictus

So far over the last couple of weeks Invictus has had a capsize and Alpha lost its rig over the side so things are getting pretty dramatic. The full story is panning out on the Sailing Anarchy Forum
