Not sure I could do that - mind you, my children still work on the "I'm awake so you should be too" principle, so 4 hours sleep a night would kill me!

its the joy of doing shifts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 i start work at six in the evening and finish at ten past two in the morning. have worked shifts of some kind all of my working life, you get used to it. the down side is i dont see as much of my wife and daughter as i would like. on the other hand it might explain why elaine and i are still married after twenty-two years!  |

Nice sail last night before packing the Lightning up ready for the Cotswold SC open. Beat all the Lasers on the water, which has become my main aim in terms of boat speed. Would have been better if the wind hadn't dropped between 7 and 8.30...by the time I'd finished packing away, a lovely breeze had returned.

That will depend on how the kids' training at our club goes with me at Cotswold this weekend - the next session is on the 22nd, and if they were very short on staff, I may have to go along to that instead.

Cheers - I was quite pleased, really, given that rather a lot of the time I was waaaaay out of my comfort zone. Need to get fitter and get more strong wind practice if I'm going to survive the Nationals in August!

had a better sail today. finished second. it always nice to finish infront of the national 12 and supernovas.
only one small down side for me.. elaine won!!!!!!!!  |
