Great find. It doesnt look too different to that today and I think some of those A raters are still sailing. Im not sure they are roll tacks in the sense we know them today, the boat is rolling as the pressure comes off as the boat goes through the tack, but the roll is not being induced by the crew to maintain momentum through the tack. |
