(Don´t worry - I´m not taking over the other Girlfriend functions - just
crewing for him!!! )

Slippery Jim - I hope (for your sake !) he remembers its you and not his ex
when you cross over legs in the back straps - Could be embarrassing !

Actually (and sorry Grumpfs as I know this is the 100 forum !) the sheet
loads on the 49er are very low, both main and kite, hence why (with the
old rig) competitive crew weights were getting towards 10 year olds with
eating disorders ! In fact the windier it gets the lower the loads (main
freewheeling upwind and soaking so low low downwind the kite was
basically just floating). The killer for the 49er crew is the repeated hoists
and drops and playing the main upwind, which needs armfuls of in and
out - all continuous activity with no rest for the wicked !

James - what are the sheet loads like on the RS100 (getting back on topic
finally) ?
Not now Kato (you fewl) !

RS100 421 (8.4)
Ex - Vortex Assymetric 1090 and 1208
Ex - 49er NZL142 (crew)

here? (Sorry GRUMPF - don´t set the dog on me - or better "Who let the
Dog(s) out? WUFF. WUFF,
WUFF,WUFF WUFF")

My deposit is now down, just recieved a welcome to the fleet email from LDC.  More good news is that I have now sold my Radial bottom section so I am on the way to being able to afford my new toy too!

Helming the 49er has to be one of the physically easiest rides going ... not so for the crew

I don't mind. It's always good to be active on a boat. Besides, for me working at the sharp end of the 49er gives me insight about how my 59er and perhaps my future Musto (think of the time when I've no crew) work.
