Student loans dont seem to be stretching far past the drinking bit atm, and even that seems fairly tame at the moment!

Well I won my laser and sold my old laser to buy the 700, i have no intention to let the boats go, they're all i have in terms of savings really, i dont mind swapping and changing them but im not selling them to use as beer money!

If i sell one boat to put the deposit down or trade the 700 in as the deposit and some more, then im guessing i wouldnt have to pay the rest until the boat is delivered, which would give me a good long summer of work to pay for the rest, i think this is a fairly viable opition, then a winter of pracitce before the big handicap events and then onto the summer of class events, seems like a fairly good plan to me.

Before i do anything i need to speak to the rents to see what they suggest, and then if that goes well have a test sail to make sure it sails how i would expect!

Doesn't sound as though that plan will leave much time for any academic
study - but hey, you are a student !

Could be a Phantom or a Solution being overtaken in the video. It is not
clear whether it is a solid or concave foredeck if you look closely. Sails could
be either, both have a forestay and its foggy! I guess only the person sailing
can tell us for sure

Anyway , Nick only said they would stay with a phantom upwind in the light,
not cane them over twenty yards

Oh and just checked the Tiger Trophy results. Plenty of Phantoms, but NO
solutions..... Great sailing by Anthony York and maybe these boats are that
quick

Its a Phantom, there were no solutions at either event.

Looking at the video again (sadly nothing better to do until end March !) I
note that in virtually every shot where the kite is not flying, half of it is
hanging out of the chute onto the foredeck - not quite as sweet as it all
looked at the Boatshow !

Is this a prototype rigging issue, a sailor issue (rushed packing) or
something we will need to work on ?

James - any issues with this on your production boat ?

Chris

I have sailed two prototypes and neither had kite launch retrieve issues, so
set up or snag on the water. It has had plenty of test sailing.

Cheers guys.

It all looked so beautifully sorted on the final production boats at the show
that I was really surprised to see any muffin-top.

Doesn't it look just great to see it finally sailing and looking soo sweet.
