How long does it take you to launch?  From offloading the boat from the trailer, stepping the mast, setting the rigging, and then finally sailing.   What model of boat are you using?

In a rush 20 - 25 minutes may be slighty less on a really good day.

Sunday club sailing 40 minutes but this inclues getting everything "just so" rather then adjusting on the water on the way to the start line.

Phantom usually.

Both times assumes dressed really to sail on arrival.

About and hour - but then I sail a 5oh (not a beast known for its lack of string)

If I am at the club - with the mast stepped and all the string in the right place -I can rig and be ready to get changed in 15 minutes

When you find a big kettle of crazy it's probably best not to stir it - Pointy Haired Boss

When I had my Laser, from Trailor to Launching could be done in about 30 minutes if I wanted to, with the 700 and 200 give me 2 hours, I end up having to re-rig the kite system and all the other bits of string, then do it again when the kite is rigged wrong.

Give me an RS Tera or Laser Pico anyday.

15 minutes max for the Lightning - once the ropes are undone, just pop the mast in, clip the rudder on, put boom on,hook the kicker on, hoist sail, launch. It is the 3/4 hour of gossiping which takes the time up...

9 minutes to perfect.  but thats an enterprise and it took 3 mins to get a knot undone.

as for the merlin, if I turn up a day in advance, I am a day late to get the frikken set up right

45 minutes in the Lark if the mast is down (too much string and fiddly kicker). 25 mins for the contender if someone helps with the mast.
