Flat Trolley tryre

Hi everyone,

The tyre on one of my launching trolley wheels was a bit soft when I launched the boat this morning and when I returned to shore the wheel was completely flat - it might have had something to do with the water temperature, it really was that cold ! No problem I thought, however, I hadn't realised that the tyre was tubeless and because the seal had broken on the bead, it wouldn't take any air. There are several solutions 1) buy a new wheel/tyre assembly, 2) put an inner tube in the tyre or 3) take it to a tyre fitter with a decent high pressure air-line to see if the bead will seal against the rim of the wheel. Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem and have they any suggestions ?

P.S. I did try the airline at the local Tesco's petrol station, but it wasn't very high pressure and didn't sort out the problem

And it will stay clean for ages!

Put an inner tube in it, i got a pair for about £5 or 6 each. They are the same ones which i put in my trailer wheels (and wheel barrows) so its good to have a spare in the car anyway.

Much simpler than fiddling around to get a good seal and if you get a puncture its easy to fix with a bicycle tyre kit.
