I have heard though that you do only have a 'bit of a thing' so you are of no interest to Gillian.

Two bricks.

Hope that helps

dear Dave and chaps,

You will be pleased to know I have saved myself the trouble of going to Denmark by cleverly getting my car stolen and then contracting swine flu (so unfair for a committed vegetarible) so I need not worry about the diet and training etc for now.

I am now preparing my competition schedule for the next few months.  Clearly I need several weeks to recover from said flu, so shouldn't risk dieting until about the middle of September.  The nationals start on the 19th but they are in sunny Mudeford where I'm told fat is fast, so they don't count.

After that I am persuading her indoors she wants to go to the Gold Coast for the worlds in Brisbane, but they start just after Crimbo!  What am I to do?  Presumably if I go to oz for christmas they only have barbie and beer at xmas anyway, so I could just focus on salad.....

any hints?

by the way dave, looking forward to the show tonight!

Dear Dave,

I've never written to you before, but I really need your advice. I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me.

The usual signs are phone rings, but if I answer, the caller hangs up.
My wife has been going out with "the girls" a lot recently, although when I ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't know them.."

I always try to stay awake to look out for her coming home, but I usually fall asleep. Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.

Around midnight, I decided to hide next to the garage behind my boat so I could get a good view of the whole street when she arrived home from a night out with "the girls". When she got out of the car she was buttoning up her blouse, which was open, and she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on.

It was at that moment, crouching behind the boat, that I noticed some hairline cracks in my gelcoat, right were the hull meets the transom of my boat.

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take the boat into the yard for repairs?

Dear Hengst,

You could easily repair the cracks yourself. However, the smell of the resin may make your wife feel a bit ill.

Next weekend I am taking her up the estuary . That would be the best time for any repairs.

Dave

Most definitely, but it made me chuckle so thought it worth sharing.

That list is wrong. Natasha Kaplinsky is well worth a squirt.
