We were probably too busy trying to help the guys to de-ice the knots but for sure we will be at a number of events over the next couple of months. Amazingly I was so busy that the bar closed before I got to it so didn't even get a beer Including: Steve Nicholson Trophy, Northampton Sailing Club |

So, the new deck has now been mated with the hull and here's the result. As I have indicated in an earlier posting there are nearly as many who like the classic look as those who prefer the new, high tech look. We will therefore continue to offer both options. Me? I like the new decks Meantime come and say hello at the London Boat Show at the weekend where we have two D-Ones in the Battle of the Classes and one on the Dockside for the whole weekend. Mmm, that is much prettier. Especially if it stays black.

That's the list I got so I am guessing the N12 didn't get an entry in???? Should be a good event for traditional classes given the restricted waters - gusts, shifts etc! |

As they say 'better late than never' At last I have found time to update on our weekend at the London Boat Show and Battle of the Classes. I have done a bloggie thing on the website here http://www.devoti-one.co.uk/devoti-one_suntouched3_009.htm We were chuffed to bits that a Devoti came 3rd overall, as you may imagine

Beat me to it James. D1s were 24th and 36th. That Finn must have been one of those quick floppy ones! |

'cos FINNS ARE GREAT... not much to look at I'll grant ya, some (un-enlightened wind-surfing types for example) might even say "somewhat old-fashioned" but if it's the sailing and racing that counts (and it should be that over asthetics for moi) then FINNS ARE GREAT ... plus you can be proper man size and eat pies and drink beer and chasers and have some more pies and still feel competitive (although you might now not be, depending on how many beers/chasers you've consumed up to that point...
