Cheers Rich, Its been a real nightmare cleaning her up but she is starting to look good.  I have just put the first coat of varnish on the bottom mast section and finished filling the chips in the foils!  But gutted as it seems no one sells my favourite control line rope anymore!  Its kind if hidden on the LDC website and no one else stocks it (Maffoli Evolution Racing 4mm) so may have to make do with good old Excel racing.  I am going to adopt but modify your system for continuous lines, but need to try and recoup some money first (the solo error cost me a shilling or two)

I have seen it Rich and fancied giving it a go, only problem is they only do it in 2 colours!! Not good with our 3 controls!

Unless you know somewhere other then Purple that sells it??

Russ the Evo Race 4mm does still exist mate! I bought some
not too long ago. And at the boat show the RS800 there had
all new control lines made from that stuff.
Have you seen my thread on the rope issue? It seems you
have to really insist that you get the 'Melange' colour
otherwise you get sent some standard sh*te that doesnt look
cool.
Im waiting to see what Adam from LDC can do about my order.

That carbon bracket looks a bit swish. Much better than the
pikey one i bought!

Iv'e got Merlinboy's old 300 and am looking to add some extras when i bring it home on saturday. Only issue is that he has done everything i can think of and more. Any ideas?

I think the easiest way is to find someone with a 700 boom and have a clever end fitting made as it is very close to length and with the fitting would be spot on!
