right first sail was this weekend

took her out on blym( tiny lake and we did capsize mainly due to the massive shifts, but we did get the kite out and got shifting

nothing broke but we do need to get more grip on the hull.

sorry about the pics they were off a phone

Looking good guys

Is that an M18 Jib? looks like the leach is rather open

Have you rigged your pole or kept it unstayed?

A slight diversification but the thread name kinda lends itself ... have you seen the below?

Its not the Draycote consortium ... but SP does live there...we still have Tango and I must get on with sorting the lowers and gooseneck and get her wet again ... especially with the W/L racing now running at Draycote.

After all I guess we are going to have to get back into practice for when the big B18 showdown is held, not forgetting I am the current B18 world champion helm

Ohhh Chris worms can of ... JJ is not the world championship it is an International championship trophy and I was lead to believe the Mark Foy was going to be the World Championship.

I don't think any body is 100% sure which is the worlds now ... however Rob Greehalgh and crew were announce the the World champions during the presentation but all references to the Mark Foy trophy now show it as an International trophy ... who knows ... my statement above is seriously tongue in cheek ... there is no way on earth we were even close to the leaders with the exception of one occasion where we were in the mid pack going round the windward mark   ... one of life's memories that one

By far the most prestigious has to be the JJ ... one day

Funny that the JJ trophy actually has the words "worlds championship" on the top of it but the mark foy doesnt appear to, but yes i'll grant you it seems noone really knows, not even the 18ft class association....

I was only winding you up anyway , but then you knew that didnt you.
