Makes you realise just how absolutely massive the rig on
the 18 is, and how much power there is in the kite. When
Dave "sheeted" it in the bend in my rig was huge, and there
wasn't much wind.

I cannot believe you let someone put an 18 kite at the top of your rig.  There is a reason for that many spreaders and that much wire holding the thing up you know!

Lads,

Treat yourself to a £5 early Christmas pressie 'Smack Down Under' Vid. There are some useful technique & handling methods to gain from it.

olly_love - If you are popping into LDC today then give me a shout. It would be good to talk 18ft'ers and compare notes. I've not really done much to Swordfish other than a bit of a re-rope, new nets (which are a real pain to fit), and rig the bad boy up!! and yes that rig is huge, esp with the racks and prodder on.... I like you also can't want to find the time to getting out and on the water.

We have got an old style but new fixed rudder and a set of both no1 and no2
sails (no kites) but sails only used for one week.
Both sails are for the pre Carbon rig and very good.

Anyone want them, make a offer....

Also the new (old style) hull is still available....going cheap, buyer collects.
Think I also have a boom and some tiller extensions around.

PM for details.
