I will for him, I doubt at any point in that video clip it was 50 knots! Sorry, i am aware of who both the sailors are, but showing a graph that says it blew 50 knots doesn't prove anything!  Its hard to tell rom a video how windy somewhere is but you can tell if its 50 knots, have a look at what the Beaufort scale says!  Then look at TT's Y&Y scale!

Chris Draper and Peter Greenhalgh are one of the teams in the very
competitive Skandia Team GBR Performance squad.

They will be going to the 49er Worlds in the Bahamas in January but here
they are doing some hard yards in the Solent, this week.

While they were out there, Bramblemet recorded 50 knots of wind speed!

from some other videos ive seen of it it looks like its
sailing with the bow down quite a lot. looks a bit odd.
and it also looks like its gonna have some issues going
downwind into any kind of steep chop. i know those bows are
wave-piercing but i reckon one wrong wave and that thing
will be on its face.

Not sure about the other clobber on display either  Horizontal stripes don't do it for me.

Those sailors must buy their gear from the same charity shop as me!

This very short clip is from 1985 and illustrates the fashion to have a bar towel stitched to ones backside..........I can see the benefit of wear resistance but it must have lead to a permanently frozen arse once wet.
