it is sand in the epoxy under the paint, is rough as.

so should be fine, after stipping the racks and now having them welded up we should be on the water very soon

sand in epoxy? very heavy. Next time sprinkle sugar OVER the wet epoxy. When the epoxy dries and the boat gets wet the sugar dissolves and you are left with the hard peaks of the epoxy. Much lighter.

we have got new pictures of the sprayed boat and her fitted out, just got the racks to do now, and will be sailing, for those who have our facebooks there is a high as a kite video of me dancing while spraying..... lesson dont spray with only a crappy mask and in a enclosed space

And if you want to use 2-pack car paint in an enclosed space ... DONT!

We found out that it *may* have had trace amounts of Cyanide in it ... Be careful people.
