Yeah George i know it was good but it just doesnt run at
all now. Im gonna look out for some cheap 10mm at the boat show. I still want thick rope, but just thin enough so it runs freely. |

10mm!! Is that not a bit thick?? Ther boat in the pictures is a 200 Salty, the rope is what LDC supply now i forget its name, but it was 8mm on main and jib sheets 5mm for kite. I think its about £3 per metre so not to bad.
Hpe it helps |

10mm is the way forward! It doesnt slice your fingers like
the 8mm cheesewire ![]() moment! Its a beast! The main on your 200 looks like the Maff Evolution race, but i thought they only stocked it up to 6mm. Im probably gonna have to give them a call and see what theyve got and at what price. Ive found 10mm swiftcord at another online shop but its £5.50 a metre!!! |

What on earth?! Why are you using such a fat mainsheet? The 600 works
well with a good 7mm mainsheet. Why you'd want more than that I've no idea. |

Its nice to hold cos its so thick. Anything less than 8mm
is cheeswire and it ruins my hands. |

just hope we're still talking rope here ![]() I do think 12mm is a bit too much through for a mainsheet. Oh well a bit of blimbing surly. |

...... I just don't know what to say. There isn't even much load in the main once you've got enough kicker on. You must have HUGE blocks to run that rope through. |

Yeah i know theres not much load, its just nicer to hold on
to i feel. The main block on the deck is a Harken 57mm carbo ratchamatic i think and the other 3 are the 40mm Ti-lites. They could do with being the 57mm ones aswell so the rope runs a bit easier. But that would be more unnecessary expense. |

Salty no wonder the others bailed from sailing today, with rancid chat
like that I'm supprised you lot even summon the courage to get out of bed in the morning! 10mm mainsheet, don't think they use that on a tp52! It's not pimp it's just soft, pimp would be using such small dia rope you need to use servos to trim it via an iPhone. |
