Sorry nothing happened, but if we would of gybed it would of put us in the clifs - and prevailing conditions meant no pitchpoles!! Will try harder next time for you guys  HAHA!

If you've ever sailed in plymouth you'd understand - you never have those wind conditions where by you can just go at the top end of the sound, hoist the the kite and just hold it right to the Eastern entrance of the breakwater! Just wanted to carry on! lol

I still wouldn't mind having a video like this of me, something to show people when they want to see something about your boat.

Whilst we are on home movies, here's one my Wife and I made. There's not much sailing in it but loads of pushing, pulling and grunting:-

and if Stewart Hall had done a commentary it might have been entertaining

2007 Isle of Sheppey round the isle race, 40 miles. Competitors have to negotiate the bridge, mud banks, rocks, barges and the Bar. 5 or 6 of us went from Pevensey Bay.

Andy and myself sailing across Plymouth Sound on Saturday afternoon, about in about 15 knots of breeze we covered 2 miles in 6 mins, which averages at 17 knots. Was good fun!

Recorded using what, out of interest?

The video time from one breakwater to another which was 6 mins, the distance was  2 miles. So that's about 17 knots through my calculations. Obviously its not that accurate, but as a rough guide I reckon it's about right. Have I got my maths wrong?
