The wings got potential, but its unlikely tp be perfect on the first attempt.  Also, of course, C Class cats race in very clean wind.  In contrast, there will be 100 boats at the A Class worlds.

Here is Ben Hall's -Peter Cogan Designed A-Class "an evolution of the XJ" with it's Rigid wing prior to the mylar film being applied.
