Still love em! does anyone know who owns the Blue Ultra that was racing at the Torbay Regatta this year? Had a little mid water chin wag - damn I wana go!

ps, if your the owner and your reading - I am the blue 12ft skiff!

pps, does anyone know if any Ultimate 30's are still about?

Yep there are Two in Penzance in Cornwall  only one sails a bit two or three times a year some of the Lark sailors had ago last year when we held there Champs

Hi! I'm the chap with the blue one 'Zombie' That was at Torbay this year. You want to play on the ultra and I want to play in your skiff...

Good to hear Star is out sailing too. Do they use DBS too?

We sail with 7 crew now, after adding the lead bulb we needed to shed some weight. The Carbon rig does the trick, though a little too stiff. Despite our best efforts, we have yet to capsize it...our time will come!

Hey Jockey, Where are you based? Im down Plymouth and my 12's at Mount Batten, Ive got a new No2 mast on its way (snapped one at Torquay) and im mending my boom! Should be ready for the weekend! WOO!

Your Ultra is amazing! But still - why the lead! haha!!

Definately pop down and ill take you for a sail!  you say you havent capsized yet................ im sure I can help you - managed to pitchpole my 12 in 6knots of wind

Based in Hamble. it's the ultra I haven't capsized since adding the lead. Managed to turn my nipper's Taz over the other day, but thats another story!!

The Lead is there to make it rate. no lead, no SBR certificate, no cert nothing to race against. Just wish we could have done the rig upgrade without adding the lead.

Have just laid her up for the winter as there is no SBR racing until spring series. Just need to encourage a few more out onto the water and get things moving again.

damn thats a shame youve packed her up already - im from southampton and gona be back next week til the end of the month! oh wel, guess ill have to pop over start of the season
