Lovely boats - the only reason I wish I was more of a lard-arse, or at least had more upper body strength to keep a lard-arse crew on the wire in the gusty stuff. It's a criticism often levelled at newer designs, but the side-tank buoyancy looks a bit excessive - the board is way over the water when the boat is capsized (hopefully corrected on the Alto). And what do people think about that bottom batten? Some of the shots towards the end make me wonder if the rules couldn't be improved to deter sailmakers going for that last bit of area at the possible expense of sail-shape/longevity. |

And now you can substutute a 3 and see day 3. I've only sailed a 5o a few times and that was some time ago. Its a great boat and a great all rounder, I hanker after one even now.
