They're a bloody nuisance dolphins..

Congrats on your win Rick.

If this forum software was more mac friendly I would have posted the pics
of that yellow vested inbred with the blue slippers under the heading

Are Musto Sailors really this cool?

Two years ago at the Swift Solo NA's in Florida I had a dolphin come up under my wing while coming in on the port lay line. I could have stepped off onto it's back. When we got to the mark, it took off for the open water and I went 'round to the leward mark. This was probably one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I can't imagine being in a whole school. It must have been quite an experience.

Oh and Musto sailors are rather cool. I've had the fortuen to meet some and the are a great group.
Live large, love life, and sail fast.

I run a Mac, and I have no problems. Do you think it could be you? Na surely not.

As for dolphins... some how I think they are thinking the exact opposite.

What a great shot.

Well if you have a mac, wether you run Safari or Explorer and you post an
image link and the line breaks, the image will not appear.

The Boards Forum had exactly the same problem, they fixed it.

This is a very old piece of forumware.

It lacks a lot of what more modern software has, features like reader
polls.

Here's a test, follow that link Rick posted tot he Musto pix, ctrl click on
the picture to get the image link then try and post it using the image link
tree button.

Dolphins? We have a resident dolphin at our club, it has an exclusion
order surrounding it, technically we commit an offence every time it
comes within a few feet of us, which of course it does, constantly.

Last night whilst we were racing windsurfers, sunday in the boat laying
the course, last Thursday racing, its latest tactic is to push your rudder
over, or to lay right in front of the centreboard stopping the boat dead in
the water.

I only tolerate it because the other week, we were being lead by an RS400
sailed by a friend, he rounded first, the dolphin attacked his rudder,
forcing him to swerve mid hoist, he then sailed over his spinnaker which
had us in fits, suggesting to him the dolphin was going to nest in it as we
continued up the beat and to round behind him.

What happened next was even better, the Dolphin put what can best be
described as its shoulder into the back of our boat, then thrashed its tail,
it was a light wind evening, but our boat literally set up a bow wave as we
hurtled down the run, catching the RS400 enough to nail him on
handicap.

Other than that, friends have been cautioned by the police for kitesurfing
near it, when they were simply unaware until the last moment when it
surfaced and leapt over their kite board just as they had "sent" the kite
and were taking off.

Its a bloody great thing. like a flying sea cow, very scarey.

No matter how many books you've read about how friendly they are some
of them are nutters (Face it if you could swim anywhere in the world, why
would you come to Hythe in Kent? - Exactly its some sort of outcast for
being mental) and when you're in the water or out on the wire and it
comes up and nudges you, trust me you aint thinking ooh how cute..

I think with that story you have just supported my earlier post.

As for Safari or Explorer - don't - use Firefox.

We had a load of dolphins just down the coast  at the 600 nationals in torbay. For about 20 minuites we had a bunch of dolphins jumping about between the boats at the start which was awesome to see. Although, looking down whilst trapezing half way up the beat and seeing a dolphin right underneath you, can be rather distracting!

I think we were plaged by the same very light conditions as the MPS fleet, it was very frustrating! especially driving 8 hours back home to find a good force 5 blowing!
