Knee pads are compulsory on a Contender too. You hardly spend any time sitting down, even in light winds. And I'd like to see someone getting under the boom without kneeling down... Even Soren can't do that! |

I once read somewhere at sometime that the very best knee pads are volleyball knee pads

Th Gul ones are good - but I agree a bit uncomfortable - though they do wear in eventually.
Otherwise I'd recommned the Lomo wetsuit range - some serious built in kneepads. Edited by timeintheboat |
