Tassimo was the winner, given the last-ditch attempt to stetch the buget to a bean-to-cup machine failed. What swung it was the ability to do a mug, as well as a shot of coffee and also the availability of pods in shops.  Yes, we'll buy them online to get the best price, but knowing emergency coffee needs can be met by a trip to one of the main s'markets was a factor.

...plus washing out that milk heating/frothing thing looked like a bll ache on the N'pro.  I drink it BNS, but sadly, I don't share an office with other such enlighted folk!

Coffee (black, no sugar) is the only beverage that gives me the energy to survive a day surrounded by tea drinkers.

Coffee? In the work place? In the UK? No sorry Tea only, served on the hour every hour, coffee's only consumed overseas, where Johnny Foreigner hasn't the foggiest idea about Gods finest beverage upon which the very Empire was built and then squandered.

Coffee? Yanks, Eyties & Frogs drink it, how can it be any good for you?

Nespresso is the way forward. Clean and very easy and the coffee tastes top notch. The milk foaming device is great for cappuccino's or latte's if you want to offer that option. Amazingly quick as well.

Can't comment on other brands.

Head into your nearest John Lewis or House of Fraser and they should have a tester

it depends on what you want, nespresso does a wider range (and better) of coffees, tassimo does tea and hot choc too.  nespresso you have to order from nespresso online, arrives very quickly and works out to be about 25-35p per cup.  tassimo you buy in the super market. ive got a few nespresso machies in stock

I've always found Nespresso to make a nice cup, although I fear the 'pods' might be quite expensive to buy. I've only made a cup when other people have owned them.

Needs to sail more...
