so you're likely a shop, restraunt or bar owner who may have been burgled by the crew?
We're really not likely to be the people who might know, sorry.

I feel I cannot clarify the whole situation. All I can say is that the boat is operated by a hired crew. And two crew members did a serious security break. I think the owner for sure would like to know it. All I can say Is that the boat left the following day after the incident. In my theory, they left probably to avoid being reported. The local police told me to look for the name on internet and then come back when I know more.

I think you need to qualify this if you want further support. btw, here's a little thought; the man or woman who owns what appears to be at least a $15m custom triple fly super yacht, probably has good resources to defend whatever accusations of security breaches you might wish to discuss with them- be that legal or otherwise. Even if you can identify the marque, you can forget the designer/builder offering up the owner details without a subpoena or court order to force them, that would be commercial suicide to divulge sensitive customer information. Your resources appear to be google and a UK-centric yachting forum, principally populated by dinghy sailors who drift around moored jerry cans inshore or even inland at flooded former gravel pits. All power to the little man n' the internet, but I'm thinking you're pi$$ing into the proverbial wind. However if I were doing the desk research, I'd search every charter website for super yachts in the Caribbean. There's even a possiblity that whatever this security breach is, the owner might NOT be aware of it and would actually welcome hearing from you. Yachts like this rarely lay idle while the lord and master is busy earning a crust elsewhere managing a hedge fund / trading arms to Syrian loyalists / buying up Premier Football league clubs for 'fun' / seizing ex-communist state assets and selling them off privately etc... even rich folks like to make money on investments, that's why they're rich and the people that charter these boats, well they tend to be rich too. But good luck, it's intriguing to say the least.... Edited by pondmonkey - 10 Sep 12 at 9:36am |

surely a "serious security break" is the sort of thing best dealt with by the police?
