Hi,

Well said, I feel I should say thank you to all those who put effort in to making this forum what it is now, I feel this forum does go up and down, but as has already been said, this forum is what we make of it. And at the moment it seems to be a great forum. I admit I haven't posted on this forum for a long time, but that is just due to me reading a lot on the forum, rather then posting on it. I have to say, I think, when things are going well, this forum is great, and at the moment it seems to be going this way. I feel that at times, I, like most people (I presume) have overstepped the line, without realising it, I apologise incase anyone feels that I have, but at the moment (for me at least) this forum is great,

Thanks,

Sail on, have fun, and enjoy your time here, just as I have done,

Max

With you all the way Jeffers. I've virtually given up with the forum, and have even toyed with the idea of "doing a Perkins" due to the prodigious and overbearing output of absurdly biased personal opinions declared as "fact" (when they are anything but) of a very small number of regular contributors.

Hi all,

It seems once again that due to a personal matter this forum has had to be subjected to moderation.

I do fully support the removal of the thread in question however I do wish that those concerned had kept it out of the public forum.

This place is a shadow of what it used to be. I firmly believe that this is because of the overly aggressive attitudes of some of the people here and their willingness to air dirty laundry in a place that is not suitable.

This hardly presents a good image to those who just surf on by and look in and certainly will not encourage them to sign up and contribute which is s shame as there have been some great threads and discussions here in the past.

I am not saying lose the passion at all (after all we are all passionate about sailing aren't we?) I am just saying don't make it personal.

Mark and Mags have always adopted a light touch here and only step in when they deem it absolutely necessary. For that I am grateful. Other forums I frequent are fully moderated and this spoils them (in my opinion).

How about we all go sailing/surfing/kiteboarding and then come back when we are all a little more chilled?

Just my 2p (as always).....
Paul
