Our two none XLs are both singlehanded, one sail.

I expect that you are about right with 1260. Is this for 2-up or singlehanded with 1 sail? May I ask which club you are with Jim C?

Can I ask if any race officers out there can suggest a suitable handicap for an RS Feva S dinghy? There is a PY for the more common XL model (1200) but nothing quoted for the slower 'S' variant with no Gennaker and a soft unbattened main. Feva S can be sailed 2-up with a main and a jib or singlehanded with just the main. Any suggestions?
