Stealth sxl (single handed xtra large !) Single hander based on 18ht platform , sailed by a lardy bouy , sailed lay line through light stuff whilst others went looking for wind , lay line wind picked up and sxl crept ahead of A F18 , H5.9 and Spitfire , but as went ahead had to drop kite and these 3 slowly crept back all finished with seconds after 30 miles , rest of fleet specs on horizon .

Race won by Dart 18 on Hcap though !!!

East Coast Piers Race allows Single handers on both the Full ECPR course (I did it this year) and on the Colne Point Race.

Forts Race allows at discretion of the organisers (I did the forts 2 years ago but had to retire with a ripped Kite).

 From the UKCRA site
"Single handers: single handed catamarans are excluded from some long distances races on safety grounds, but allowed to sail in others. Where they are included, organisers may wish to recommend the use safety lines, permanently attaching the helm to the boat."
