I am amazed that Sheppey doesn't get more of a mention.  There are simply miles of open sea with launching from a sheltered ramp.  It only needs a bit of development and there could be a first class venue within an hour of London.  Instead any money there is goes to Weymouth which is a long way from London and has wind that is disturbed by a damn great rock.  Nice place for a holiday though!

Swiss lakes, Germany, Holland, Denmark etc

the strange thing is all these clubs are large comercial centres only interested in your money i find the best events are at member run clubs!
