What isnt user friendly about the paper system? There are a lot of boxes to fill out which may be time consuming but its fairly straightforward isn't it? The biggest issue is that if you return by paper I think often you end up doing a whole return for a year in one go which is fairly daunting and takes time.

The PYS website is fairly easy to use and a lot quicker, I'll admit that it does have its "quirks" but if you use sailwave to score series already there is no reason why you can't make a return. And you can do this on a race by race basis with no further work required at the end of the year. It also builds up a suggested number for each class in your club which gets amended after you enter every race if needed.

There really is no excuse as to why any club doesnt make a return (unless of course they ONLY fleet race in which case they can be excused).

As most clubs results are compiled by an unpaid and usually dedicated volunteer I would caution against anything which could be considered critiscism... unless of course you are prepared to take over the job yourself.

After reading throught the "extra" list at the bottom I have found 1 of my other clubs that I am a member of returning as well,So done hickling board sailing club.
