The wind has been unfair for a while now, but it looks like your luck is in.  Nice breezy forecast set for this weekend.

However, looking at the 'feels like' temperature I shall be giving it a miss.  Sunday morning racing at Netley is not worth it when it feels like minus 6degrees!!!

I'm starting to wonder the same - although 2knots of wind i dont' call it competing...cold and boring but not competing  Dead
 
On the plus side for the last few weeks the longer range forecast has had wind forecast for the weekend which has then dissappeared by the time the weekend turns up.  Fingers crossed the opposite is working this week.

.....update from the environment agency, they have sent in three dumper trucks and bulldozers. Ferrying shingle from one side of the harbour too the other. If we give the drivers a cuppa they'll do an extra smooth beach  in front of the club down to the water. The man in the house can sleep again.
 
Waves of 4.1 meters heading straight into the bay did the damage

Down the Club during the week, very hairy. A house adjacent to the club has recently been sold for 400k, the "Sold" sign still flapping in the wind........Monday the beach lost 30 yards of shingle and the house front patio had been undermined. The householder hired the biggest dozer he could find and spent all day weds pushing shingle around, he then regained 10 yards. Thursday he lost a third of that. I reckon he's got about a year and no sleep at high tide.
