very easy. I was amazed how well the drill bit worked - a really clean cut then popped the rivets in and kerplunk! The paper template made sure they went in the right place aswell and a couple of adhesive backed plastic protectors were thrown in aswell to stop chafing at rotation points. Cheers, Keith |

I actually thought the whole rig update was very easy to fit. Instructions were concise and even provided a paper template for where to drill. Bit more strength at the mast inserts now. |

Yes I'd kind of figured that out for myself...
Maybe nylon would slide more easily, and silicon spray. |

all it needs is just a couple of washers behind the bolt heads that hold the spreader bracket on to the mast, and don't tighten the bolts too much (or too little).

Hmm I think what I'd rather have received in the mail would be whatever do
dah prevents the mast jamming in the spreaders, lost a nice day today because of it, not sure if its caused by too slack spreaders or too taught but either way it was so bad the sail wouldn't tack. At first i just assumed it was me and the sail being too big for the rising breeze, but once ashore and still not being able to get the boom centred in the boat, the problem was made clear.. Very annoying. |
