Maybe I should have elaborated. LIGHTLY dip a cloth into a small amount of acetone then proceed to wipe anything from your sail. To be sure there will be no damage (which there really shouldn't be), you can another cloth and dip it in some water then wipe the surface you just used acetone on. Wash your hands afterwards blah blah blah. |

Personally I get fairy liquid, water and a car cleaning brush and scrub.
not sure it its strong enough but I do it after every sail to keep it shiny (Mylar sail not Dacron so maybe unhelpful? |

I've seen Bristol sails washing sails with a pressure
washer. Don't know if they then treat the cloth? Garry |
