best moment has to have been last year in my topper, went out over the bar in about a force 5 and as i was coming back in the swell started to build until there were massive breaking waves all around me. i was surfing down the waves yelling as loud as i could (its compulsory 2 yell when having fun! ) and i was joined by dolphins and about 3 yachts, all surfing down the waves next to me! sooo much fun!

One picture will always stay in my mind and it was racing piper IOD keelboats at the Scottish Schools week. We caught it on video too. Two Pipers were going down wind and both crews were hanging from the shrouds to project the most jib area possible. One was on port and the other starboard. The crews were right next to each other, and we heard a bit of mumbling between them, then from no-where the small guy on the starboard boat karate kicks the guy hanging next to him on the opposing boat. I think he then shouted protest because he was on the starboard boat and contact had been made. We were all in hysterics watching it back on video, becuase no-one had been injured and it was just the guy on the starboard boat trying to scare the other boat. Coincedently, the Kung-Fu artist was 14, less than 5 foot and from Dunoon if that helps you build a picture of it in your mind.........

my most memorable moment was racing a laser in a force 8 (53mph gusts) with a broken toe strap, and i was winning the race for over an hour, and finished 2nd.
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Recently has to be sailing in the fog on the Forth. We could only see a few metres ahead of us in a 49er that was wanting to really power up. Luckily, we had a rib out to watch us train or we would have been stuffed on finding our way back in. The scary thing is there is two massive bridges on the Forth and container boats hammer up it at some pace, but I suppose that all added to the fun!!!!
