Reg Fest 2008

   Absolutely Brilliant   The whole atmosphere - friendly people - amazing sunny weather (for someone coming from Ireland anyway  ) - good racing, even in the light wind. Well done Brightlingsea and the White Family.

	Agreed A great event, with some great memories. Well done to all at Brightlingsea, and the vast White family! wherever you were on the race course there was a White! (In front of me )

	Anyone who was at Reg Fest on the weekend of the 27th and 28th and saw Reg reunited with his gold medal crew of 1976 John Osbourne could not helps to have been moved. The look of Reg's face to see his crew again, I know I shed a tear. This was a fantastic event. Between 60 and 70 boats, Spitfires, Shadows and Hurricanes. How often do you see three old medallists, Reg, John and Yves Loday, at the prize giving all wearing their gold medals. The only disappointment was the lack on wind on the Saturday and Sunday but with the event that good no one minded. Well done to Brightlinsea Sailing Club and all the White family, it was one of those events that will be remembered for a long time.
