A Bit of wind, but may be a bit damp too - I will never complain about 3mm per hour again

Wind direction a little changeable, no?

I have no idea, but I didn't think they lost many... I think they had some delays waiting for wind, but nothing unusual about that.

I don't suppose its a vintage Olympic venue, but then they mostly aren't... there was Atlanta in the US for instance, which as I remember was portacabins or something in a swamp with the racing area a hour and a half tow away or something stupid. There've been a number of events at this venue, none have been abandoned for no wind that I have heard of, and funnily enough the winners always seem to have been from amongst the best sailors...

I just get irritated at what seem to me to be exaggerated prophecies of doom... It may be a crap regatta with no wind and make me look silly. It may also get blown away by a typhoon half way through according to some reports! We'll know before long. No doubt whatever the weather is the locals will tell everyone that its not normally like that...

Remind me then of the number of days lost to no wind at the two test events at the same venue and time of year in 2006 and 2007.

Great to see Andy Rice's blog www.sailjuiceblog.com back up and running.  Sounds like the T's are having fun and games already!
