Back up justa second, in the 14 its the sails and our weight that does most of the steering!  I'm sick of all this helm nonsense you all wear girls wetsuits becuse you couldnt fill a blokes one, you winge when you get wet!  IF we give you a mouthfull you piss it in so i fly round the front of the boat and yes it does hurt! One other thing i am not a handle for you to pull yourself back in the boat if you loose your balance and another thing if i could get the kite up and down faster i would how about you try it, they are huge!!!

Depends on what you are sailing! i have found that Showa ones are the only brannd that lasts any length of time on the 14, i have tried all of the ones from screw fix because they are easier to get hold of, other classes the screw fix ones may be fine, but our kite/main sheets eat gloves for breakfast

Fair enough, i'm normally found in the back end of a cherub

At the back end !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You dont even need gloves do you ????  you helms are all the same thinking you run the show, all you do is mess around with that silly plank at the back, you need to gwet in the business end!

That "silly plank at the back" is the thing that choses which direction you go in, directly controling wheather you go round the course in the fastest posible direction to win a race or wheather you don't  So yes it's less work but we get all the credit cause we helms make more diference.

And yes it is a contrevertial point.
