Hmmm I'm thinking back to then and wondering what we got up too

Must have missed something, because we always behaved at clubs we visited

thought it was only the Laser 5000 mob that flaunted their all to loud music (Rutland 04)

if you're not into beer i agree the 24 hr race could be a bit pointless ... i remember it back in its pole-climbing heyday of the late 80s ... best placing (with RCC, not L&L) was a 13th when it blew an overnight gale, otherwise we were usually well down in the bottom half of the fleet, but that never mattered ... there was a year when lightning put a hole in the marquee with evening do was in full swing inside

the Laser will be a real leveller ... a great chance for Y&Y forumites to really show off their ability (or put their money where their mouth is  )
