If you know your hanging upside down then there is something wrong  , just look back sheet in extend the front arm n tuck ur back leg up, next thing you can actually remember will either be crashing or landing skillfully on your back int he waterstart position!
Any one in need of quality carbon fibre work (tillers etc) at decent prices!

Pitchpoling a cat at very high speed hurts .................... alot. Usually involves broken battens and sails. No not a chance you could loop a 180kg F18  with anoth 130/40kg of crew on board. As ssailor said its alto do with c of e of the sail and unless you fancy trying to make a cat with a mast which you can move to change the c of e its very unlikly. yes i do windsurf but no i cant do loops i usually end up hanging upside down then bailing out!~!!!!!!!
Go Big or Go home or sail a 49er!!!

moral of the story, windsurfers may loop but dinghy sailors can drink tea between races.

Hang on why cant we windsurfers drink tea between races? I think youl find that its easier to come in and have a drink windsurfing than it is when doing a days racing in the international 14 anyways nice little story lol

I have been told stories of cats doing forward rolls and keeping going; i.e. pitchpoleing, keeping going over so the hulls then land forward and down wind of the mast, momentum lifts the mast back out, and the boat sails on.  Just stories mind......

Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital
ingredient in beer.
