Ricky, LDC do very good Magic Marine wetsuits, I got mine for under £70. Mine's got blue bits on it and short sleaves. Really good for the summer and in the less warm days and winter, I wear a full armed O'Neil rash vest beneath, one of the thick fleecy ones. When it gets even colder, a decent smock does the business for keeping warmth up. The advantage is that by layering up, there is no need to have more than one wetsuit and saves money.

Thanks guys, think i'll go with the shorty, and wear a spray top id needed etc etc.

P.s. Your right about the wind in summer, went on a holiday on the norfolks broads sailing clapped out wayfarers, and at about 5ish everynight the wind died completely... leaving us to paddle the god knows how many miles home! Long live wind!

i have a few wetsuits, i find that windsurfing wetsuits are great for trapezing cos they dont let any water in and if u are new to trapezing u are going to get very wet so a good buy. if hiking any wetsuit is fine genrally just go on what ever looks cool.

With hiking shorts they really are down to personal preference.  Queensports provide the greatest batten support although arnt the comfyest.  The magic marine (grey ones) are better for people like me who seem to get REALLY itchy from neoprene.  And roosters and S.E.A seem to be fairly all round good choices, good support and fairly comfy.
Not that i do any of that silly hiking stuff anymore.
