It may be chunky but if your sail is cut to match it, it will almost certainly be faster than a super light mast that doesnt fit at all

Id be amased if you couldnt get a 600 mast to fit a phantom, but whether it will fit your sail or be at all quick is another matter...

Just got phantom 871 and will be looking at ways of improving it on a budget.

How far off size wise is an RS600 mast compared to a standard phantom mast. I am wondering if its possible to use a 600 or an addapted 600. The mast fitted is a holt one which is a bit chunky!
