Been a while since I've done any team racing, but I do recall that one big difference is that you can sail people beyond the leeward mark.

The ISAF website has the call book available for download and also the team racing appendix. Main difference is scoring system and tatics. No reason you couldn't team race using the normal RRS, they aren't very different anyway. Jon Emmet did a series of articles on Team Racing in Y&Y check it out in teh subscriber's section of this site.

Suggest you just get on and organise an event on short courses and learn as you go along.

i am interested in getting team racing started at my club and was wondering about the rules. what differences between fleet racing and team racing are there? could you say it in simpletons terms and any links would be apreciated.
