All part of the service

If anyone's interested, we have maps / satellite views of all the UK's Sailing Clubs.

I did a Scorpion Nationals there about a quarter of a century ago.  It was good.  There was plenty of grass above the beach to keep the boats, cars had to be left elsewhere.  A bit of a nasty chop with an onshore wind since its quite shallow and a long drag up the beach at low tide.  Also a bit tricky getting out through the waves - but manageable.

Do you know about Google Maps - you can get a high definition satelite view?

Eurgh! How will they get 80 odd geriatrics in So-slows ashore if it does that?

It's a lovely place:

with a tricky ramp where one of our members wrote off a brand-new Topper a few years ago.

Watch out for the shorebreak, apparently...

As for the tidal flow, ask razerlarf, he'll tell you all about it...

Didn't know where to put this, but we're having our nationals at Felpham this year, has anyone ever been there or do you know what it's like? I'm wondering where we're all going to park, for a start...

I did the 12's at Pevensey years ago, and remember coming ashore could be an issue- Felpham looks fairly shallow shelving: any comments?

Finally (for the moment) is the tidal flow an issue there?

Any advice/info gratefully received.
