sorry guys, i should have said. i sail at hawley lake sail training centre (HLSTC) which normally resembles a sludgy brown millpond (i.e manky water no wind). the actual lake isn't that bad it's just really shallow and theres these random islands so you cant have a lot of boats out on the water trying to start or sailing in a race because it gets really crowded especially when there's a bit of wind

yer i know what u mean. we get quite a few people out on sundays but they are all in the wrong class and we aree usally left to race by ourslfves but is all good fun and is a friendly clob

Well my club get around 50 boats out on any normal weekend except wen
it comes to cadet week when we get about 500 kids that you've never
seen before and you probably won't ever see again (unitl next year's
cadet week!)

we have can have around 60 kids on the water at one time. and we have about 20ish boats out windsurfing and canoing etc.
