Seafarer 18

   I have been given a seafarer 18ft and was wondering if anyone has any information they could let me have. She has a roller jib and a small covered cuddy area, not really a berth but covered seating area. Needs a clean and touch up of paint and varnish. Only main job is sorting out the centreplate which is stuck up. Person who had her said she has a metal keel so can sail ok, but without the centreplate down doesn't point very well. So any ideas on fixing that would help.
