Currently have some Rucanor volley ball ones which are a bit tight but stay put better.
The only problem with the Sandeline is that they are a sod to get on and off.

I have no problem getting them on.. getting them off is another matter.. Only someone who has experience that absolute pain of being stuck with your tackle hanging out and your hikers half way down, huffing and cursing for 10 minutes whilst you stagger about strange changing rooms try and get them off will understand.

I've only had them a couple of months but they're such a pain to get off I've considered replacing them.

Apolloduck full of them:

Being slightly more helpful to the OP, we found the Rooster hikers dried relatively quickly. The youngest had some Magic Marine hikers that took a week on the radiator.

In my OK I use Sandiline 3/4 hikers. They are incredibly good, far better than the Queensports I used to use in the Laser.

I use Sandiline "Hiking Pants Winter".
I use them all year round and I'm on my 3rd pair now.
They are extremely comfortable, warm and durable, and the integrated battens are great.
Since hiking pants came into the market place I've tried everything, and these are the best by far, without being ridiculously over-priced.
Also, all those Finn Olympians and medallists can't be wrong!

I've resorted to using rooster neoprene shorts underneath with the pads in then putting a gul code zero longjohn over the top

this has the added benefit of being really comfortable when not using pads, easy to put on, and because the top layer locks in the pads better you dont get as much movement while sailing making the pads uncomfortable

as for summer and winter suits. The longjohn is 3mm thick so in the winter I put a neoprene rooster top over it and wear seal skin socks and its ample warm enough. In the summer I just use the long john and never get too hot
