Nope, its work all this weekend to fund the bit after the demolition  more planned the weekend after though, I have a snout to get rid of and im still toying with the idea of loosing the foredeck  Top of my santa letter is actualy a 12ft skiff no2 rig... no superglue to be found but a bit further down is a new belt sander and router Contender443 is a man after my own heart, If it cant be fixed with ductape: just walk away... Im not a big cable-tie fan myself, though they have their uses (g'mornin!) but superglue? whats that all about?  |

I never go to far without some sp106 with fast hardener and some kevlar tape. Great for serious emergency repairs... The rudder fitting I did like that has lasted ten years...

Unfortunately the more sane side of my brain agreed with you and I bottled it when it came to taking the grinder to the snout/foredeck. I made up for it on the rest of the boat though, kickbars, fitting mounts... all gone MUHAHAHAHA!! |

Aha! I've found the Contender aaaaaages ago, but she's in a chain. Her current owner, a respectable member of LSC, is trying to find a newer model. Until he's found a replacement, I can only hope... Still, he said he'll tidy her up for me during the winter, repaint her if he's got the time and he's let me sail her several times... I just need to be patient until the sailing season starts again! |
