Photomechanic is great piece of software for adding details to the metadata of pics (digital and scanned), such as who took it, date, place etc which websites can pick up and display. I would suggest using the scanning software that comes with the scanner for best compatibiility.

My sailing club has asked me to organise their sailing photos, prints and digital. Anyone have any tips on how best to do this? No idea yet how big an archive this will be but lets say it won't take long to get over 1000.
Scanning and filing software recommendations gratefully received.
