I don't have anything to do with the advertising so they may do that tho I will pass it on.It would be nice to see it continue so any helpful comments are always nice

i think last week the wether was against it light winds and cold

 

time for a lyein and a big breckfast no pont geting cold and wet for no wind

Maybe trying to get the class associations onboard to help promote the event might help for example posting the event on the class websites

This could be part of the problem I think they put it y&y a couple of weeks before the event They did do fliers at all the asymmetric events we had late on in the season.Our problem could be that we don't advertise early enough for people to put it in their diaries?It's always on our site

Average was about 25 boats each w-end. yes you can leave boats there for the whole slalom

If thats 53 boats every weekend, that's not too bad a turn out for this time of year. Maybe this year is just a bad year. We'll try our best to make it next season, can you leave boats in the dinghy park between weekends?

We had 53 boats that sailied over the 4 w-ends 26 fast and 27 slow

My Question is some of the south coast boats come to events like the Bloody Mary but not our specific event geared towards our boats so is that because we can't attract good sailing on handicap or something else? Maybe we should have an asymmetric pursuit race instead  now that could be fun !!!
